Adele K. Kaneda has been in public accounting since 1988. She was with the public accounting firm of Price Waterhouse & Company before her association with a local CPA firm as audit manager. She has planned and executed numerous financial audits of nonprofit organizations, particularly of those requiring audits in accordance with OMB Circular A-133. Other industry experience includes banking, oil and gas, software, and construction industries. Prior to becoming a certified public accountant, Adele was an educator for the Department of Defense Schools in Asia and Europe, receiving a Sustained Superior Award for excellence in teaching. Throughout the years, Adele has been involved in community service which has included being a volunteer for the Aging Bill Payer Program and a local hotline Adele is a graduate of Boston University (MS, Business Administration) and the University of Hawaii (M.Ed. Curriculum and Instruction). She was also a member of the Alpha Lambda Delta Scholastic Honor Society. |
